iOS 4.1 both gp and limera1n are same.........

    i jailbreaked my ipod 3g using both and according to me both are same but i will use limera1n for 4.1 whereas gp for 4.2.

    Yes they are, I don't get why people with 'limed' devices would restore to poison it.

    They are both using the same hole to squeze Cydia in.

    Greenpoison just have a better way of doing it.

    So if you already got Cydia via limera1n there is no reason to redo it with GP.

    yes but gp is also unthered for 4.2 thats the main point. Whereas limera1n is tethered for 4.2..............

    I had to restore after i did something wrong, so now i used GP but before i used Limera1n. Did it do some sort of verboose boot for u guys?

    Use which one you choose. CDT have been working on greenpois0n for a while and GeoHot came out with his surprise limera1n jailbreak the day before CDT were due to release To avoid burning a separate exploit they may be able to use later they patched greenposi0n to use the GeoHot's limera1n exploit and released...

    Two tools are better than one and it may be that some works better from some than others..

    how much space does "greenpois0n" & "limera1n" take up on the iphone?

    negligable (a few MB at the most and that's for Cydia).

    I think one main reason for switching is that many people either want to support GP/Chronic Dev over Geohot or they see GP as the more stable option.

    if it does, it's cuz you downloaded something that would actually use up the battery >> I never notice much of a difference.
