While installing an app from Installer, a pop-up appeared saying that I was running out of disk space. So, when I discovered BossTool, I installed it and used the "free disk space" function. However, after the move BossTool displayed that I had 38mb out of 300mb free in "/".

    1. I moved my applications, so wouldn't I have more than just 38MB?
    2. I only have 2 full pages of apps, so how can that take up +100 MB?

When you jailbreak your ipod, to downloads a bunch of megabytes into your ipod. Dont worry about only having 38 mbs left. You are no longer going to be downloading applications into that partition anymore

So... those 262 MBs are taken up by the iPod firmware/OS and NOT by the apps?

    Anyway, thanks for the response.
