I don't know why, but after I installed the update to Bossprefs this morning, when I exited installer, the iPod didn't respring. It just hung, unresponsive. I had to hold the two buttons to shut off, but when I turn it back on, it hangs on the apple logo (and must be shut off with the two buttons again).

    I have a 16gb pre-macworld iPod touch, jailbroken with ziphone 2.6.

I know I can restore / rejailbreak it, but do you think there is any way I can fix this without having to lose my apps, settings and music? At the very least, gain access to the files?

    Thanks in advance!

    You are probably right.

I plugged it into my computer, and it was able to startup. Weird.

    Thanks!
