Since there is a ikee worm for any idevice with SSH installed going around, I would really like to move my Applications to general population.

I have read that Boss Tools can do this. But for the life of me I can't find a download link?

Is it illegal to post it? Is it against forum policy? Or is it no more?

If I can't get it is there another way to achieve the move?

    thanks,
    James

I believe BossTools is incompatible with 3.x

I also think SBSettings can do what you're talking about

Boss Tool was an app on 1.X-2.X that moved the Applications folder from the system partition to the general partition allowing you to install more jailbreak apps. Movin' the apps doesn't make your device safer, it simply gives you more space (you're not "hiding" anythin' by movin' folders around). In 3.X, Cydia moves your apps, ringtones, exe for you automatically (remember when you first opened Cydia and it said "Reörganizing"?) In order to protect yourself from the hackers you're worried about, change your root password, it's simple: download MobileTerminal from Cydia.

In MobileTerminal, type in the following:

    Code:
    su (preess return)
alpine (press return, and the cursor won't move or display any text while you type this step and the next two after this one)
    passwd (return)
*type a new password* (press return)
    *type it again* (press return)
