My 2G iPod Touch will not accept the headphone jack plug from my BOSE headphones. Does anyone know where I can buy an adaptor?
I have read online about people cutting a piece of the protective sleeve off the headphone plug, but that sounds a bit drastic.

    Many thanks.

Depends on how many milimeters the BOSE headphones are.

Usually, some cell phones come with headphones that the company who made the cell phone only wants you using, that being 2.5mm headphone jack.
    They have adapters for those.

See how many mm your headphone jack is, and search online for a jack.
