This Is Just An Idea But Is There A Way To Use 1ClickBoot Or Any Other Program Without Installing LibUsb. Maybe Even If There Is A Way To Manually Install It Like Putting The Actual LibUsb.dll In The Windows/System32 Folder.

If there were, I would have already done it. Once redTool gets to 1.0 (literally one bug away

), I will implement a hacked up way for it to handle libusb on its own. Until then, nope.

Is It Possible To Not Type Like This Capitalizing Every Word You Type Please?

It isn't possible as far as i know, since it's a driver that needs to be installed along with the library.

libusb is for very low level operations on usb connections like sending just a bunch of bits. I would assume itunes handles it's connection with drivers for the usb device and stuff in the iphoneOS.

also look at touchpwn 2.3 does not work for me but it clams to have no dependency on libusb

iTunes uses its own MobileDevice service and drivers to connect to the iPod and do much of the same things libusb does. MobileDevice would require a lot of reverse engineering etc. to be usable by us. This is why libusb is necessary.

No problem, but you will need it for anything to touch your system folders if I'm not mistaken.

I think someone made a portable booter [one that doesn't require libusb]

I believe it was called TouchPwn 2.3 or something......

It didn't work for me though

Well... I'm just waiting for one of two things:
    1) Full JB for 2G
    2) A boot method that doesn't require LibUSB

I have Vista 64-bit and its annoying having to disable the driver enforcement every start up. And I hate programs that do it for you, the last one fked up my computer

I assure you that the way I plan to do it is not as careless as the other methods
