Sorry for starting another thread on this but I couldn't bump my old one

Ugh yesterday I was playing a game when i decided to exit. Pressed the home button but it didn't do anything. So I press the lock button and nothing happened still. So this has happened to me before and a force reboot usaully solves the problem. Well I did that and it went into a boot loop. Tried another force reboot and it still happened. So I was calm and decided to restore. Restored with the ipod in DFU mode and it still happened. After That i've tried numerous restores including Dfu restore, normal restores and recovery mode restore. I've even tried to jb it again with redsn0w 0.3. It always ends up booting into an boot loop. My computer still reconizes it and I can still sync and transfer music, videos, apps etc. Any one have a solution to my problem?

Also what are the odds apple will replace/fix my ipod with a couple of dents in the back?

I don't know if you answered this in the other thread, but are you using a backup when you restore?

I have tried both. I've used an old back up and setted it up as an new ipod.

You've tried downloading the firmware off the internet?

Try downloading it again from a different source, if you restore with the new firmware and still get a boot loop I am out of ideas
