So basically ive got myself a boot logo that I want to put onto my ipod.

But I have no clue how to do this. I hear someplace you put it in a folder and it works?

I really dont want to go through the crap that is restore, i still havent finished getting all the apps i lost the first time >.<

Any help here would be amazing, the normal boot logo is a piece of crap imo...

This is unacceptable. Is there another option?

Replace the logo.png in C:\...\QuickPwn\PwnmetheusBundles, then use QuickPwn.

ok. That wimpwn thing workswithout a restore?
Basic steppe would be to do the change, then make a firmware without cydia and the installer, and upgrade?

All QuickPWN does is rewrite the NOR data where that's stored. WinPWN, on the other hand, WILL make new custom firmware which means you'd have to do a ctrl-restore of the iPod.

Use QuickPWN and don't select Cydia or Installer, just 'Custom Boot Logos'. Make sure you've created a new boot logo that fits the size requirements and rename it to boot.png and drop it into the folder listed above.

Something came out yesterday that allows you to change the boot logo ?
It's on the front page I'm pretty sure.
