    Hi guys,

    Can someone tell me what I need to send the command "run rs" over the serial by an other iPhone/iPod (in mobileterminal?)?
    This is what I already have:

    iPhone/iPod -> serial -> female usb - female usb -> serial -> ipt2g

    I only need to know what software (and commands) I need to send the command "run rs" over the serial cable. I hope someone can tell me that

    mobile terminal on each one. Then put this file into /bin using SSH on the ipod you want to use to boot. Then go into terminal and type runrs , yes thats one word.

    Credits to musclenerd for the file.

    It doesn't do anything. Also if I'm logged in as su root and in dir /bin. I've set permissions to 755. It runs the code i think, but it doesn't boot my ipt2g... Any suggestions how I can solve this?

    You need a modified cord. You must have only the first 13 pins on one end and 14 on the other.

    Thanks, so it won't work with the setup I have in any other way? I have to make such a cable myself?

    yeah i think so. I was also thinking of using 2 cables with a female-female converter but now i guess ill have to make my own. Shoudnt be to hard compaired to making a full on dongle.
