Boot a "RUN RS" iPod with out C++ PACKAGE. is possible?

    well i have a lot of things in my computer and i wouldnt like to install + things.

    so the question is, can i boot ipod with teh run rs method without the c++ package.??? because the c++ package its needed to run irecovery but if i use another program maybe...

    Well, I thought the C++ package was to make sure you don't get the side-by-side configuration error. If you don't get it, I don't think you need to install it.

    Why would you not want to update a Microsoft framework?
    It's not a standalone program; just a framework that allows you to use some C++ calls.

    He means that its basically an update from microsoft, and may be needed to run other applications in the future.

    yeah, that package is only needed for programs compiled on visual c++, to run on computers that don't have the program installed.
