    Great, i mean, i was talking more to milesneptune (who was saying almost done). Thats great to hear the original Bochs programmer is helping out, thatll make things a lot better. Still, I probably wont have time to really mess with a new version of bochs until the summer myself, so its just as well that it not distract me now (well, it kinda is anyway).

    Alright guys, server is back up, release of Bochs 4.1 later today, along with more OSes, sorry for the long wait, but today is the day, I've got the files ready, so when Milesneptune gives me the word, I'll upload them.

    The normal repo, http://shockdevteam.com/cydia and I couldn't get in contact with Milesneptune yesteday, thus why the delay, which I hope can be solved today.

    Bochs 4.2 is now up, I need to make a few small changes, and those will come in an update later tonight, but everything works as it should. The only things I need to add are icon@2x.png, and the icon for in Cydia, then everything will be done. Don't hesitate to download, and don't forget to uninstall your old Bochs first, or the new one won't install. I'll be fixing that later tonight as well, installing the new Bochs will automatically uninstall the older one.

    Hi I tried to install the 4.2 deb manually because Cydia doesn't show the packages when I try to add the source. When I launch bochs it starts and then returns to the springboard. I have a 2g ipod touch 3.1.2. wait does it have to be 3.1.3?

    I think bochs 4.2 only works with iOS 4 and above, im on 4.1 and it works just fine. I thought that it was supposed to be iPad only, but it seems to work on my iPhone 4. I seriously doubt it would work on an older device running iOS 3.x.x, just upgrade to 4.x and rejailbreak, it should work.

    EDIT: @personman, so all ive noticed is that the Bochs BIOS has a blue background instead of a black one, is that it in regards to changes?

    I'm pretty sure it's a newer/different BIOS, and I'm not 100% sure of the changes. Also, it is correct that it only works on 4.0 and up, I will put back the older 3.1.3 version for people on 3.1.3, and I'll make the new version not install on 3.1.3.

    Thanks, I had ios 4.2 on it but my ipod would die idle overnight because iOS 4 drains the battery and is very slow on a 2 gen ipod so I downgraded it to 3.1.2
