This has been going on for a long time now. I have a 2G ipod touch with firmware 3.0,anyways.

For a long time I was able to connect my Ipod to my car with bluetooth, but one day I tried connecting and it wouldn't. So I thought Ill just chose the thing to forget my car and try re-pairing it, but it wouldn't I can't even find it, my ipod neither my car can find each other.

so does anyone know why its doing this and how I can fix it?

Silly question but is there a way to find out if your devices are hidden? Have you tried pairing with other phones or devices to see if there discoverable? I would start there. Was it since the 3.0 update? If all else fails I would re install 3.0 and try again as mine had similar issues but once restored worked fine? Or perhaps downgrade and go back to your old firmware when it worked? If it's worked before you may have installed something on your device that's interferring with your Bluetooth? Try these let me know how you get on.
