This is sooooo old and if you searched, you would have found out that apple said that their is no bluetooth in a press conference.

There's no bluetooth what so ever in the iPod Touch. Found a website that featured photos from a dismatled iPod Touch and there were no parts that could be used to engage Bluetooth. Sorry mate.

    you mean this one...

They neither confirm or deny it. According to them the chipset that is in the iPhone was not found, but they also say that there were other chips there that they could not identify. The biggest thing is the lack of antenna for the bluetooth if it does exist.

Others have reported that the Marvell W8686B22 chip that powers the WiFi might be an integrated chip as the iPhone identifier is an older number. There's still hope, but nothing confirmed or denied.

btw, just a fact. if you're messing around with the iTouch's system files in WinSCP you can found Bluetooth stuff in there... maybe just a prank from Apple?

No. It is because the ipod's system software is just a modification of the Iphone's.

    There is not bluetooth.

The iPod Touch does NOT have bluetooth. Old subject, covered plenty of times. Please search before posting.
