Hey I'm a bit of a noob with bluetooth. When I try to connect it to a device it asks for a password. This is the first time I tried using bluetooth on my ipod and I don't remember making any type of password for this.

Is there something I have to do to set a password?

I'm no Bluetooth expert, but to my understanding the connection process(pairing) requires a PIN, or password, to connect the devices. There ought to be some default PIN if a pairing password isn't set; you should try 0000 or something along those lines.

    Device:
    5G iPod touch
    default PIN 0000 or 1234

The instructions that came with the device should say, if different.
