Hello, is there anyone who has the iOS 4.0 GM installed on their 3rd gen iPod touch or iPhone 3GS that can look in the /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app for a plist similar to N72AP.plist for the 2nd gen iPod touch, or N82AP.plist for the iPhone 3G, since I think the different devices use different files.

In that plist file, can someone find a line that mentions keyboard or bluetooth keyboard, so that it can also be enabled on the iPhone 3G and 2nd gen iPod touch?

    Thanks!

Okay, so if you "knew about it since day one" then what are the couple of lines of code needed to enable Bluetooth keyboard support for the iPhone 3G and 2nd gen iPod touch?

Or did you not understand or even fully read what my post was about...

He didn't understand. The iPod touch 2gen and iPhone 3g don't get Bluetooth keyboard support.

Right, they don't get multitasking and springboard wallpapers either, but adding 2 simple bits of code to a plist enables those on those devices that "don't get those features".

Alright, I think a good place to look for the line of code about the bluetooth keyboard support is in:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/N18AP.plist in the 3rd gen iPod touch.

    /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/N88AP.plist in the iPhone 3GS.

If some people could look in those plist files it would be much appreciated!!
    Thanks!!

Has anyone been able to find the necessary info yet? Seriously, anyone with a third gen device, do us all a very kind favor and post the text from the above mentioned files.
