bluetooth in ipod touch 2ndgen

    so i did somne research and found out the new ipod touch 2nd gen has a Broadcom BCM4325 bluetooth chip which SUPPOSEDLY supports blue tooth 2.1+edr which is what my macbook has

    ethier way i was wondering do you think apple wants make us waste our money on not using a prefectly well bt chip for anything else other than ipod+nike? also do you think the jailbreak ,when it comes out, will have bluetooth syncing?thanks!

    For now, the only thing that Bluetooth chip can do is communicate with the Nike device.
    I do believe that once a jailbreak is out, it will be possible to trick the firmware and enable other Bluetooth connections with other devices.

    yep... i doubt bluetooth syncing tho... although it would be nice

    I saw a vid on youtube that these korean ppl... no offence lol not racist here cuz im azn anyways i saw that they had this thing connected to the ipod touch 2G and that thing can recieve bluetooth and other wireless headphones...

    but on this topic... the chip wont work, unless jailbroken, then maybe...

    it would be perfect to use bluetooth headset, there are a great variety of headsets that could be connected to the ipod to listen your music without any wires

    If you search for Ipod+Bluetooth you will find a few of the about $35, the Motorola DC650 is made for Ipod should work

    also about those adapters i think the adapter is a separate bluetooth chip so there still ripping us off
