Is there any way, Jailbroken or otherwise, to connect a normal bluetooth headset (non-A2DP) to work with my iPod 2G?

I really want to use Skype, and all I have is a Moto HS850.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the prompt reply, and the link you provided was perfect. However, it provides a new worry. Even with an A2DP headset, I can't use it for Skype since the iPod doesn't support audio-in via Bluetooth. Can anyone else confirm this?

Is there any way I can use Skype on my iPod (eg. how do I use my iPod with a microphone)?

Correct. However, version 3.1 is supposed to "unlock" Bluetooth support for the mic.

For the present, a three-stripe audio input plug is required, for switching music on and off and pause. I use Griffin mic and switch adapter, with a recording app so I get on to the correct switch position.

i think bluetooth on the iPod touch is BULL. I tryed to search for devices and nothing came up, when I had a iPhone with bluetooth on next to it. neither could find eachother.

That's because the Bluetooth is only for audio, not finding other devices/file transfers.
