    Okay, the following is assuming that the jailbreak happens, and bluetooth is possible to be enabled in the iPod Touch 2g.

    Assuming that this bluetooth is enabled in the ipod, would it be possible to use this jaybird earbuds?

    ..WITHOUT the need of that bluetooth adapter you need to attach to the ipod??

    (It is the 9th picture)

    Im aware of that. Im asking a slightly different question;

    assuming the bluetooth IS enabled, would we be able to use the jaybird earbuds WITHOUT the need of that adapter? Or is that adapter necessary?

    If you truly read what was posted in that link, you should have your answer.

    In short: No one knows because no one has access to the bluetooth chip inside the iPod Touch 2G so please be patient and wait for results.

    I apologize for insisting on discussing about bluetooth, but what i'm asking its completely tech related.

    I am sure someone who is bluetooth-tech would know the answer to my question. The reason i am anxious to know is because i might order it as soon as possible if it is possible.

    I'll reword my question: IS this adapter necessary for the earbuds to work? Or is the bluetooth (when it is enabled) enough for the earbuds to WORK?

    So is the adapter (the one in the link, 9th picture) necessary for the buds to work? Or not?

    Assuming that the Bluetooth device in the 2G has the A2DP profile or can support it, yes, it should work.
