Unless someone has gotten this to work as a mic on voicenotes, this mic in theory should not work with the touch. It recieves its audio from the Bluetooth dongle that plugs into the iPod, which also sends volume info. As far as I know it doesn't recieves any input from the iPod. in other words, I don't think it can be used as a mic because of the way its designed. However , I would be very happy to be proven wrong.
