Can anyone help me with this problem? Last night i charged my iPod & got a completely blank screen while charging. I can't reboot it and it doesn't respond to any of the reboot methods. No apple logo, nothing.... Help!!! I hv a 1st gen iPod. 6 months ago, I've already had an upgrade to v3.1.3. I tried to update to v4.0 a few days ago but it ddnt work.

DFU Mode, try that oh and also because you have a 1st gen touch you cant upgrade to 4.0+ because the highest firmware the 1st gen can have is 3.1.3
