Every time I respring/reboot, I end up with a total of 16 blank icons. I delete them all, respring/reboot, and they're back. What the heck, it's so annoying.

I had some blank icons back when I was still tethered. I used the "back up" feature in iTunes to back up my iPod before I untethered and now I can't get these blank icons to go away!!!

Is there a settings file somewhere that got restored with the rest of my settings that I can delete to get rid of these freaking blank icons?

    Thanks!

i believe through ssh they can be removed at /user/library/webclips

i had the same problem but i can't remember the exact directory, i think that's it, it should have folders called blank.x

I installed something with blank icons via cydia prior to backing up, untethering, and restoring. I'll try that directory trick

or try to delete them in safe mode. I use iBlank and when i try to delete an icon...it resprings me into safe mode, and from there, I can delete all the ones I want. then just respring back to normal
