Why does everyone seem to hate on the tethered jailbreak? I personally have only turned off my iPod once since it has been jailbroken, and that was only because it froze and wouldn't respond. Honestly how often do you turn your iPod or iPhone fully off?

I had my BB for 6 months, never turned it off once during that period.

^This. I have only had to restart it once as well, and that was to insure a clean installation of a Cydia app. Haven't had the need to since. Tethered is not that bad, imo.

Agree. I have actually turned my iPod off once since I did the blackrain jailbreak, simply to see what would happen if I tried to reboot it.

Honestly, a new JB method could come out TODAY and I wouldn't do it just because of the hassle.

    Deal with it.

There are countless threads that already asks this question and there are countless thread that answers this question.
Stop this stupidity, read the stickies, search the forums, visit the dev's site and blog.

Seriously these threads should be marked as spam and die.

I agree in helping out clueless people but they should figure out there's a better way to get help then to spam "when is untethered coming out?" and "blackra1n sucks balls, geohot can suck balls" thread.

    DEAL WITH IT

I had to with my 2nd gen iPod, be glad you have a unified UI for such simple jailbreak, back in 2nd gen, we had to type in commands to manually jailbreak and reboot our iPod.

Of course people did b*tch about it back then but I can't stand people who insult the jailbreak developers for making tethered jailbreak.

Don't insult geohot, he was the world's first iPhone unlocker.

Don't insult chronic, he made the 2nd gen jailbreak.

    Have fun.
