Blackrain and my 2g touch?

    Hey I have a 2g ipod touch running 3.0 firmware- jailbroken with all my apps and stuff that you need to be jailbroken to run.. so if i update to 3.1.2 will it delete all my jailbroken apps and stuff?

    yes, you will need to upgrade to 3.1.2 through itunes first, then jailbreak using blackra1n. i just did mine, no problems.

    So what about the previous jailbreak, the one running on 3.0? You don't have to delete it at all? Doesn't it take up space on your ipod's memory? SO do we have to restore the device or not?

    I believe if you download APT backup from Cydia and backup your JB apps. When you back up your iPod before updating to 3.1.1 or 3.1.2 it should backup all of your apps and such. Then update to the desired firmware, jailbreak, redownload apt backup and restore your jailbroken apps.
