Sn0wbreeze failed. Put my iPod into recovery, i can't recover in boarding school because it blocks iTunes so. Can blackra1n work while my iPod is in DFU?

Nope. Once in DFU you need to restore. Unless you can find an older programme that was made in the 2.X days that allowed you to normal boot out of DFU.

But seeing as you screwed around with the firmware (by jailbreaking) you need to restore mate.

Is it in recovery mode or DFU mode?

DFU mode is a black screen.
Recovery mode is a "Connect to iTunes" Screen.

DFU you can't get out. Recovery you can run blackra1n.

yup, restore then JB with blackra1n. Don't use sn0wbreeze - its bound to have issues as practically no one uses it compared to balckra1n.

dont use third party programs. They f*** your ipod up. Also, make sure the jailbreaking tool (blackra1n, greenpo1son, redsn0w) is compatible with your device.

true, guy just used a bit of programming knowledge to create $$$ from the file sharing sites he used to share the links.
