When i try to SSH into my iPod Touch (3.1.2, 1st gen) using iFunBox (USB SSH, not WiFi) i keep getting a message that my iPod is not jailbroken, so i cannot get into my root folder.

It is jailbroken and it has OpenSSH installed.

For some reason i was able to get into my root folder one time, after i reinstalled OpenSSH.

    Anyone else having these issues?

    iTunes 8.2.1.6 and OS3.1.2

The above is what I'm using and iFunBox (and WinSCP) work like a champ for me. It's odd that iFunBox is giving you an error telling you you're not jailbroken when its homepage specifically states "No Jailbreak Needed" to use the program.

exectly. my problem is that i cannot add a new theme thats not in Cydia because when i try to access my "root" folder of my iPod Touch nothing happens. i tried with another program called DiskAid and this happens --

"Sorry, you need to have a jailbroken device to view the root partition"

Same here, SB restarts but they don't apply.
    SBsettings also doesn't work.
