I deleted the blackra1n icon from my phone after installing Cydia and Rock. I now want it back so that I can use the blacksnow feature on it and unlock the phone for tethering purposes. I tried launching blackrain again on my pc with it connected to the phone, it went though the jailbreak process, but no blackra1n icon. Any ideas?

OK, what is the best way to revert back to 3.1.2 firmware without loosing the apps that I paid for and downloaded though Cydia? Is the only way to do it going into itunes and reloading the backup that was done prior to installing Cydia?

    Don't restore.....

Since it is already jailbroken and you have Cydia just add the source: "http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com" and run Ultrasn0w. It will unlock it for you without any need to restore.

Might not want to thank me yet....

I just realized that Ultrasn0w does not work on baseband 5.11.07 - For some reason I thought it did. I'm guessing your only option is to get blackra1n back onto it and then run blacksn0w.

    EDIT:

    I was 1/2 right

You can get Blacksn0w through Cydia. Add the source "blackra1n.com" and then run blacksn0w. If you already ran Ultrasn0w I would remove it before running blacksn0w or you may have issues.

Sorry for the confusion on my part; hopefully I didn't mess things up for you!

Or see if the creator of blacksnow can offer it as a standalone.
