I did everything on the tutorial http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253736
and it took forever to reboot. Then when it finally rebooted there was no Blackra1n icon. Is there somthing I did wrong? I also saw that if u install it a second time it will "teather" or something like that. What does teathering do?
    Thanks in advance!

did you check for updates in itunes and make shure you have 3.1.2 then did you do a full restore if not do that then run blackra1n agian

also teatherd means that if you turn off your divice or it turns off its self you have to hoke up to your computer and run blackra1n to turn back on

    ok do these steps

    1. update to 3.1.2
    2. restore to a new ipod via itunes
3.turn on ipod and go to the lockscreen
    4. open up blackra1n and click "make it ra1n"
    5. what until its done and reboots
    6. go to blackra1n app
    7. download cydia, rock, or icy.
    8. enjoy!
