Blackberry to bring out own AppStore

    This would give a nice edge to the blackberry to let it compete with the iPhone and G1.

    wow, i had a blackberry a couple years ago and i hated it. I cant believe their gonna do this. They just copied the iphone though, which isnt that smart considering all the fanboys who r gonna start whining about the blackberry store and how much it sucks, at least their trying to compete. Btw, i wonder if the new blackberry storm will also be getting these apps.

    it says they are carrier based, they might also be model based. Then apps could be built for older models of blackberrys aswell..

    agreeded... blackberry need a completely new product with a very good USP in order to keep up with the competition now.

    the only reason is that business like the blackberry. They are used to it and it does everything it needs.
