Once again I have another problem.

This problem has been named the Black Screen of Death. Now it's not an iPod issue this time.

This time it's an itunes issue.

    Heres my problem.

I plug in my USB port from my iPod to my computer.

iTunes opens up once it's plugged in.

My iPod syncs up and everything.

    Now heres my problem.

I go to (iPods name) click on apps and here I have a black screen where you can customize your apps. Not only is there a blank spot but all my default apps don't appear (safari, photos, itunes, and all the others.)

    Heres the problem.

I'm prepared to reinstall itunes if that fixes it or even upgrade (it's the 9.2)

So just hopefully it's a simple fix

Either reintall itunes, or try restoring your ipod from a backup

I got the same problem, I'm pretty sure one of the cydia packages is causing it.

The only thing I have recently installed was Preference loader or something.I can't remember what it was called but I removed it and nothing changed.

    Heres what I have gotten..

iMemory Enhancer (iTunes was working after it)

    Mass Effect theme(worked after)

    Davids First theme(worked after)

    Gamecenter (worked after)

    and thats about it.

    Also Fakecarrier

I actually removed Winterboard and all my themes so it's not anything like that.

Also just to say restoring is a LAST resort because I know for a fact that restoring will fix this problem.

The thing is I don't have wifi where I live and I really don't want to wait for a jailbreak again.

So it's a pain in the butt for me to restore..mainly due that I can re-jailbreak it till later on O_O..
