Big problem need help!!!

    ok so i just jailbroke my ipod touch 2g and now when i plug it into my computer it says that its malfuctioning and windows does not recgonize it and it will not charge or connect to itunes i need to find out how to fix this so i can recharge my ipod touch or i would of bought it for nothing

    someone plz help my out

    Try to rejailbreak with redsn0w.

    dfu>quickfreedom or quickpwn beta, but thats a little more not user-friendly

    I don't trust quickfreedom. It bricked mine and I had to return it.

    how do i unjailbreak? i first jailbroke withe quickfreedom

    You restore in iTunes. Or if it won't start then you restore in DFU mod in iTunes.

    it doesnt show up in itunes even if it goes into DFU mod

    Do this to get into DFU:
    1. Hold the home and lock buttons for 15 seconds.
    2. Release the lock button and hold the home for 15 seconds.
    Does that work?

    Does it say malfunctioning or unrecognized? Malfunctioning usually means something is physically broken, like the charger post, usb cable, usb port, etc...Unrecognized is what it's supposed to show when you're DFU'ing it

    no it just says USB device not recognized
