    Hi

I jailbroke my iphone 3.1.2 using blackrain....
The process was smooth after that i installed cydia the i turned off my iphone and when i turned it on it goes into recovery mode..

I restored it to 3.1.2 and again jailbroke it and again same problem...

Cant we switch off our device after jailbreaking?

And one more thing if we use cydia and install apps can it be synced to itunes

    or

    itunes wont detect cydia apps.....

i searched all the threads i couldnt find an answer

I'm assuming you have an iPhone 3GS with the new bootrom. And, like it says in many many threads, the jailbreak is tethered. Meaning, whenever your iPhone turns off/reboots/dies, you'll need to plug your iPhone in, run blackra1n, and 'make it ra1n' again to turn it back on (with no loss of data).

    yes it's tethered.
cydia apps will not be synced but if u use aptbackup or a rock backup you can get your apps back after a restore.

Solution might be out in the future, hang in there, it's not that rough just avoid re-boots while away from a PC. If your at a friends, and it re-boots just download blackra1n to their PC and make it ra1n.. it'll take all of what, 3 minutes? Your back up and running.
