If we are happy with them, we may aswell keep them. The seller (GOODMANS SHOP, or something) has a 100% feedback rating over the past 12 months.

We'll just have to wait and see...

Good point, but if they do end up being fake, do contact the seller and explain to them... You might be able to get a partial refund even if you do keep them :p

But if you return them (assuming the seller pays return shipping; easy to get on fakes, cause they don't want to be in deep), you can get a better sounding pair of headphones for the price either way.

It's entirely up to you though. Hope you all the best, good seller rating helps out (it may not be fake after all!) :)

I have just received my CX400-IIs and, unbelievably, they seem to be the real thing!

The leather pouch looks (and smells) like leather, the grilles on the ear phones are flat, the Sennheiser logos are sharp and aligned well, and the packaging was ridiculously hard to get into!

The sound quality is amazing. I have fitted the large double-flanged ear buds, and it feels like you are in a train tunnel (the pressure change). I am very impressed!

And all this for only 10 of my Great British Pounds.

I can also recommend GOODMANS STORE on amazon.co.uk, for their fast delivery (3 days to the north of Scotland) and well-packaged parcels.

According to more conflicting reports, Sennheiser 'CX' series only have woven metal grilles. The 'real' earphones in the picture have perforated metal, but the 'fake' ones have the woven metal.

I am more than happy with the fit/feel and sound quality of these £10 headphones, so I am not really bothered if they are fake.

As long as you're happy with them.

I got mine from JB HiFi. It looks pretty legitimate. I hope its not a good fake. I usually don't buy good stuffs online.

I know I don't say this that often, but never buy from an unauthorized retailer. Not only do you risk getting fake products, you will not be covered by any warranties. Even further, you don't know how that retailer handles their products.
