    Hey,

So I have a 16GB iPhone 3G. I'm with Rogers, here in Canada and I've been in and out of the jailbreak with my iPhone.

I recently decided to restore to a stock firmware, and enjoy the stock iPhone OS without any modifications period. I enjoyed it with the jailbreak, I just had my HDD eaten up with jailbreak stuff and decided to restore.

Before I restored, signal was really iffy around my house, there were times I'd walk around for 10 minutes just to try and get enough signal to get a text through, and signal would randomly drop from 4 bars to "No Service".

Well, now that I'm restored, I have a lot more reliable and stronger signal then I did before. My carrier hasn't updated or upgraded anything, period, I called and asked.

New Years I had signal, but couldn't send anything period and my carrier told me to do a restore, which is what led me to do it in the first place, they didn't know I was jailbroke but right after I had signal, my texts were coming and going and all was good.

    Anyone else experience this?

The signal to my mobile phone is very weak when I am at home. I have to use an upstairs room to send and receive texts and often loose voice calls even from that room. How can I boost the signal or get better reception please?

You can buy things that plug into an outlet and boost cell phone signal.
