I'm working on a space theme and I can't decide whether to go simplistic or more detailed with the icons. I might be doing simplistic for less important apps and detailed for major apps. So I was wondering what everyone likes better, simplistic or somewhat detailed?

(This is a prototype at the more detailed music icon, I was just wondering if I should bother to continue it)

    Simplistic:

It really depends on what the other icons will be like.
If they are all going to be stars, then yeah, go with the star one.

I personally like the "Oribital iTunes" thing you go going there

Make it an iTunes_Alt.png file with the theme, as that allows more customization and happy people.

    I, too, prefer the second.
