    What is iDashboard?

Dashboard is an application for Apple's Mac OS X operating systems, used for hosting mini-applications known as widgets. First introduced in Tiger, it is a semi-transparent layer that is invisible to the user unless activated by clicking its icon in the Dock. Alternatively, the user can invoke Dashboard by moving the cursor into a preassigned hot corner, or by pressing a hot key, both of which can be set to the user's preference.

Now it is on the iPhone and you can access it with a simple double home button click.

    If it crashes try this:

    Code:
    chmod -R 755 /Applications/Dashboard.app
    And

    Code:
    chmod +s /Applications/Dashboard.app/Dashboard

How is that possible? Also, I'd rather wait for Smart Screen.

Does this use the same web-based rendering format as OS X Dashboard?

Is it just me, I don't see anything called Dashboard.app in the download

About to try it! Hope it works!

Edit: Here's what I think of it. It's neat, though it needs more widgets and the ability to move the widgets around. The calculator's buttons are hard to push, and the way you can move the page up and down is annoying. I managed to place it in Kirikae so now I can keep my music popup and it's easier to access

. Looking forward to beta .3!

I love it, but it does need the ability to have more, and to not scroll the page.

Cool! I figured out how to rename it, give it an icon, and put my homescreen instead of the default homescreen for the background!

I think it really needs some work. Instead of it having a background just make it transparent. Also a mobile substrate add-on might be better cause you can make it a simpler launch.

What I think he's saying is that it doesn't run in the background as a process. instead it launches as an app (it uses memory when it's launched)
