Hey, I thought they fixed this in beta 2, but I'm playing music and I still don't get the ipod controls pop-up when I double tap.
    Is there something I'm missing??

Nope. I don't get the pop up either. I only get it on the lockscreen.

Alright, glad to see I'm not the only one!
    Thanks for the quick replies.

I think the iPod Pop-up is gone completely, I think it was taken out, being that we have "multitasking" now.

    Yea, I think so too.
I just thought that people said it was included in beta 2, but I must have been mistaken.

No, I saw it too, but it's still gone.

What can I do? I don't want to restore the iPod to factory settings, in case all of the music is erased and I can't get it back on. It's a 3rd gen. nano. I have no idea what's wrong, I don't have an iPod related files in my recycle bin, and I haven't deleted anything since the last time it was synced. Any ideas?

I know some people had it, they would double tap then hold and the music controls would appear. It never worked for me though

They probably had their Home button set to something then restored from that backup.

I had mine set to iPod, but it still won't work. Double tap and hold would open up iPod.app in beta 1 but does nothing in beta 2 with the same backup.
