Yes once again another jailbreaking situation. I currently have a 16gb ipod touch running the 2.2.1 firmware. Now I have tried numerous times and numerous methods found on YouTube and sites such as this. Quickpawn was what I had gotten the furthest with once I got to the browse section where you select which firmware you wanted to open frm your desktop, I would do so and then click next resulting in a processing error in green text coming on the screen. And yes I downgraded my firmware. And no my touch is not 2nd generation I retried the process SEVERAL times with the same outcome. I also tried the ziphone method with no luck either. If anyone who thinks they are up to the challenge and make me feel even dumber be my guest lol. It would be much appreciated I'm looking toward to the full customizaton of my iPod. Thanx

*facepalm* He has a First Generation not a Second Generation.

Information about your error would be nice.

Need more info. It might help to stick to one method only and ask questions as you run into problems. If you keep switching methods it will make it harder for anyone to diagnose the problem and help you solve it.

    Right... no help At all....

Ok well it depends what firmware you have.

Just restore with the same firmware with iTunes. Normally.

    Ok then after that.

Use itunes 7.5 and downgrade it to like 1.1.4 or something.

Then you can upgrade to whatever firmware you want. And hack it. With the new iTunes.
