I got one of my old college professors to get a touch and she wants to put some of her movies on it. I run on Mac so I'm not sure what the best software to rip and copy a DVD onto a Touch would be.

Suggestions? She is pretty computer illiterate

    Thanks

DVDFab is a good decrypter, there is an evaluation period (not free). The Platinium version allows you to transcode the movies to iPod and other mobile devices, never tested that part on an iPod though.

Theres a very good program somewhere on sourceforge.net that works perfect on my video. You might have some problems with the screen size though

I´ve tested the freeware freez DVD ripper. Google on it. Does have the option to enconde MP4 (H.264) for Ipod. It´s free but I heard that after a certain number of rips the software asked for a password to keep using it. My version is still working perfectly and I have rip a few times with no fuss.

I use the windows version of Handbrake. It's use is not completely obvious, but there are thorough tutorials online.

I prefer to use Im Too DVD to Ipod Converter 4. It's really good.
