best way to jailbreak ipod touch 2g

    can some one tell what is the absolute best way to jailbreak an ipod touch 2g is it quickfreedom or redsn0w

    yes with red sn0w you dont have to flash your ipod with quickfreedom you have to shift+restore it

    The best way is the way you're most comfortable doing so.

    If you're more comfortable in the command shell, go for it.
    If you're into GUI programs, use one of those.

    yes but if you use quickfreedom then you will have problems with your ipod in the future(freezes,won't turn on,etc.)

    i used quickfreedom 1st and it recked my ipod. i was able to fix it (magically)and then used redsn0w .3 and it is the best!No problems at all!

    so what would you recomend for someone with almost no idea on how to work this stuff?
    and also, when you jailbreak it, do you lose all your apps, and if so, can they be restored by syncing?

    WHAT! i used quickfreedom and my iPod works perfectly
    well it takes longer too turn on than unjailbroken but thats winterboard and SBSettings
    And also you only tried once with Q.F. i had to do it twice because i installed an app in Cydia and "Phunked" it up
