    redsn0w. Greenpois0n and limra1n don't work for the 2nd generation iPod touches I think :/.

    Used snowbreeze and have a message on the ipod saying 'waiting for custom firmware'

    Help?

    Then restore to the custom firmware you created.

    You have to restore to the custom firmware in iTunes.
    You should use redsn0w tho

    Sorry does this mean the one that I downloaded and selected when booting up snowbreeze?

    If so how do I restore to this?

    Yes. Just open iTunes and press shift then click restore and find your sn0wbreeze custom ipsw
