If you have an iPod, go to 2.0.2 and use QuickPwn.
If you have an iPhone, you could go to 2.0.1, because the baseband is changed in 2.0.2 and use QuickPwn to!

if you have an ipod touch,
    upgrade to a clean 2.0.2.
    then if your on windows,
    download winpwn and use that.
    if you have a mac,
download pwnage tool and use that.

but if you have an iphone,
    go to 2.0.1.
    because like mcyo said,
the baseband has changed in the 2.0.2 firmware.
and just use either winpwn or pwnagetool.

The 3G baseband has changed with every update so far, but the original iPhone baseband has stayed the same since 2.0 beta 6.
    Don't believe me?

Notice, the baseband is still 04.05.04, while the XGold baseband number has changed.
    Besides, QuickPwn disables baseband updates.

Don't post if you don't know what you're talking about, please.

Edit: Just to further prove that I'm correct, here's every XGold update:
    Code:
2.0 1.43.00 (in iPod touch beta 7 firmware, internal)
    2.0f 1.45.00
    2.0.1 1.48.02
    2.1 2.04.03
    2.0.2 2.08.01

    And the 2.x SGold updates:
    Code:
    2.0 beta1 4.05.00
    2.0 beta2 4.05.01
    2.0 beta3 4.05.01
    2.0 beta4 4.05.02
    2.0 beta5 4.05.03
    2.0 beta6 4.05.04
    2.0 beta7 4.05.04
    2.0 beta8 4.05.04
    2.0 release 4.05.04
    2.0.1 4.05.04
    2.0.2 4.05.04
    2.1 beta1 4.05.04
    2.1 beta2 4.05.04
    2.1 beta3 4.05.04
    2.1 beta4 4.05.04
