As I will be going to college next year, I would like to get a color touchscreen tablet that can store all of my books I will need for college. I would also like it to have internet-surfing capability and video-watching capability as well. I would LOVE an iPad, but I don't know if I could afford one at the present moment.

i am loooking for the exact same thing, the only thing i have really found and liked that has been released is the archos 7 home tablet, its 7 inches, and runs android. the only problem i have with it is that it cannot be upgraded from 1.5, which I consider to be very outdated.

One of the best Android tablets for under $250 seems to be the iRobot aPad. Looks like the iPad. Has a camera. Runs Android.

    Look it up.
