I use Capture for taking screenshots but they come out a bit blurry. Also, I always had to SSH into my iPod to retrieve the images because Capture saves the images in the Camera Roll and the iPod touch doesn't have a camera roll. Well firstly, I recently found an app called TouchRoll (iSpazio Apps repo) which creates a camera roll in Photos and now all my Capture screens go into that for easy e-mailing. But I was wondering what screenshot apps you guys use and how well they work, and also how easy it is to retrieve the images.

I know that BossPrefs has an Enable Springboard ScreenShot feature (can someone explain how to use this, where the screens go, and the quality of the screens please).

I also tried ScreenShot but each time I enable it and leave the app, the snap buttons don't show up. If I open the app again it's disabled. Can someone explain how this one works?

I think there's another screenshot utility but I'm not sure.

Finally, does anyone know how to take screenshots of the battery/lock screen? What utility is used and how is it used?

they are only blurry when you view them in camera roll...when you view the file itself after ssh they are clear...should be..mine are.

Capture is currently the best third-party screenshot app for the touch and iPhone.

I get absolutely no blurriness with Capture.

hm for some reason my old post never posted

    i use this

it saves the screenshots straight to your computer so you don't hafta ssh in and copy them from your ipod

You're right. I didn't even notice that. I just saw they were blurry and didn't bother to open then on my PC.

Capture lets you take a screenshot of the battery/lock screen. Just enable capture, lock ipod, then unlock, and the snap and exit buttons will be there.
