    Hey guys.

I just got my IPod touch (2nd gen, 16GB) about a week ago. I've been playing with it a bit, and am kinda curious to get Skype working on it.

I already have Fring and made a test call to my own phone and it worked. Of course, I was only able to hear and not talk into the iPod.

I was curious as to what is the best mic/earphone combo that is known to be compatible with the iPod touch 2G.

I'm talking terms of quality, price, etc. It doesn't even have to be a mic/earphone combo if there is something better out there that I don't even know of.

Hell, just throw out some suggestions of anything.

    Thanks!

The iPhone Stereo Headset. It goes for about 30 dollars, and you can find one at an Apple Store. Or the Apple Stereo Headset with Mic and Volume control, which goes out for a bit more, but it also has buttons for the volume. Both will do for Skype and Fring.

those two are nice, but look up the "Griffin Smart Talk"

its an attachment that is basically a headphone cord extender with a built in microphone, this means you can still use your prefered pair of headphones with a microphone

its wut i have and it works great
