Yes, but where it falls short is that there is no anti-vibration.

Can someone explain how approx. 1.5 feet away is "macro"? Still, good review, thanks.

Yeah, except he gives incorrect information.

    It's only .7 megapixel when taking photos. It just under 1 megapixel for video (1280 * 720 = 921600)

He also says it has autofocus... and acts like he knows more than engadget. It only has white balance control.

Great video though. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Deepdvd,

    You're totally right !
About autofocus, may be he was referring to the macro-autfocus ?
Some people think that Apple uses an extrapolation algorithm to match with 720p HD Video format !
I mean a camera can not change its number of pixel !

The tap-exposure feature also seems really cool !

    ;-)

It's pretty pointless to rate video quality by watching on YT. I saw few .RAW (unedited and uncompressed) video files from iPT4 and they has much more details than what you can see on YT.

I'm not certain I'm totally right. I don't have mine yet, but they might be expanding the frame and cropping to fit the 720p size. On the other hand, they also might be just cropping the photo to 960x720. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to figure out using a short movie and a taking a photo from the same exact spot and comparing size.

The end result photo/movie is, however, what I said (whether it was manipulated to be or not)

He think he is so clever... 'Engadget is obviously wrong' I will wait on a post from them.
