I usually listen to pop, some rap, and other songs by Linkin Park. I have $50, what would be the best headphones for me. Thanks.

    Skullcandy is a good choice.

Sony MDR-EX300's, from $45-$50 on Amazon.com... Originally $80. PERFECT for Pop, Rap, any other sort of electronic type music, etc...

I have a pair, and I PERSONALLY think that they are better than Skullcandy's. Skullcandy's may seem cooler, but they also sound like crap. And the EX300's aren't that bad looking anyway...

They also have nice bass, not too much, but not a little. It's there, tightly wound, and not overpowering. If you like a lot of rock, you may want to turn on the bass booster, but with any other genre, they sound great.

Sony just knows how to make good headphones, my last pair, that was $15 by the way, lasted 2 years. They FINALLY broke, so I got these 8 or so months ago. They still sound epic, and I don't really take much care of them, I wrap them in a circle to put them in my pocket, they are always in my pocket... They are still nice. And they sound really nice too. They are just amazing. They come in black or white, to match iPhone's colors.

I have a black pair, looks nice while plugged into my iPhone. Looks made for it.

^ Those look totally in my budget.

It's about time, considering 3 of the Apple earphones I owned got wrecked.

Well the skullcandy ones I would suggest are over-ear ones so that's completely different from what is suggested here, might be worth looking at...
