....Don't I have to add Kexts to the files, beforehand? Or do I just DL a distribution and it works?

Well, could someone tell me how to make a new partition and/or create a second boot option for Mac OS X?

Why not like, visit some sits and read their guides (OSx86 wiki, Hackint0sh, etc)? If I were you, I'd make a backup of everything important to you or your entire Windows partition in general. Then format your entire drive and practice installing OSx86 and then practice dual booting until you get it right. It's what I did. You should try it too.

Make sure to have an extra computer (Preferably a Laptop) for resources etc.
