I recently got a new ipod touch 2g and was wondering which case I should get to protect specifically from drops? This is where I doubt the iwrap-style cases will help, so any suggestions? Thanks.
I forgot to mention that an additional feature that would be cool would be built-in headphone storage (like something to wrap them around on the back of the case).

The purpose of my posting on this site is to get unbiased and experienced reviews. I am sure that on a forum dedicated to ipod touches I will get a much wider selection of products from experienced users as opposed to sites that are trying to sell their specific products.

Just buy any silicon or rubber case. I have a 1G iPod Touch with a Xtreme Mac Tuffwrap and I've dropped it on hardwood floors and it's fine. Oh yeah, and it slips in and out of my pocket without any friction.

Thanks for the reply, I've pretty much settled on the new switcheasy for the 2g.

Which color are you going to get? It looks like a pretty good, durable case.

I agree with you about reading reviews on sites that sell products like BBY or Circuit City. I'd rather read reviews from sites like this.
