There is no best one for windows. CS5 ONLY compiles flash apps into iphone apps, never heard of dragon fire before. I would suggest getting a mac if you want to program with the iPhone. Plus with Apples latest SDK agreement, the only apps allowed in the app store are apps made by iPhone SDK.

Actually, only apps with original source code in C/C++/Obj C are allowed. In otherwords: DragonFire SDK (99.95 USD, C++ language), AirPlay SDK (Free - 99.00 USD, C++ language), SIO2 SDK (Free - 49.99 USD, C++ language), Cocoas 2D (Free, Obj C language), Shiva3D (Free PLE - 499 USD, C/C++/Obj C languages), Bork3D (49 USD, C++ language) are all allowed because Apple says that they want the source code in C/C++/Obj C and NOT ActionScript (What Flash uses). This rule was put in place because Apple is heavily opposed to Flash on the iPhone...

By the way, for Windows, many of the above SDKs/Game Engines require that you do have a Mac to use to sign the application itself, but that is the only use of the Mac.

I wish people would stop saying that!!

No they banned Flash but VERY CAREFULLY worded it so it seems to include ALL other SDK's!!!

Read this article for an actual tear down of the licence agreement and the different SDK's!

You need a mac to sign it anyway, so none of those are of any use if you want to submit to the App Store.

    Wrong!!!

AirPlay SDK will allow you to compile it (on windows) with your developer certificate and DragonFireSDK compiles it on a mac server so you can submit it to the AppStore through their developer account for free and get all the money!!

Get a Virtual Machine on your pc and download Apple's SDK.
