    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for an app that detects all the wifi networks around you, or something to that extent. Can anyone recommend me a good app for that? It can be from either the app store or cydia. Thanks

Settings > WiFi > It will show you all WiFi networks and if they are locked or not. You're welcome.

wifitrak definitely, you can see way more networks than in settings. it lets you know the channel, encryption, and signal strength in NUMBER.

I've always used WiFinder, (now called WiFi checker)
It also tells you the strength, channel, open and closed networks, an you can connect to open networks from there, but it doesnt let you put in passwords to connect to locked networks

I haven't used wifitrak, and i'm sure its better since you pay for the app, Wifinder is free, but unfortunately, its not working on 3.0

Thanks you've just answered the question about wifinder, I also use it and noticed it just drops back to the springboard after a bout a second or two time to uninstall I think

^I use Wi-Fi Finder. Is that the one you're referring to as Wifinder? If yes, then it works fine on my 3.0. If no, then try using Wi-Fi Finder.
